About This

• Ursinia anthemoides is a beautiful, daisy-like flower that reaches 15 inches in height and about the same in width. It has a mound of fern-like foliage with brilliant orange colored 2 – 3 inch blooms that put on a display all summer long.
• Ursinia is a 15 inch tall annual growing in USDA zones 3 - 11.
• Ursinia likes a position in full sun, and it prefers fast-draining sandy soils. Ursinia will reseed itself so that each new season will have these gorgeous bright blooms for show.
• In the spring, start the seed directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Press the seed into the soil, cover the seed with 1/8 inch of soil, and keep it moist. With a temperature range of 55 - 60F, germination is normally within 30 days. Space plants 12 inches apart.
